This home, perched on a clifftop on Santorini, is a very special place indeed. Based on the island's distinctive architectural style, and with stunning views across the Aegean Sea, it's guaranteed to take your breath away. Built into the volcanic caldera rock, this home is a soothing respite from the hot Greek sun. The curved ceilings, natural textures, and soothing colour scheme create a sense of calm, and you'll soon come to realise why this style of building is so popular in this part of the world. Take your time with a pampering session in the incredible stone bathroom, before heading up to the roof terrace for a glass of wine as you watch the boats sailing below. There's even a Jacuzzi tub, so you can sink in for an alfresco soak beneath the stars. From here, you can wander down into the heart of Oia in a few minutes, to visit the blue-domed churches and artisanal boutiques lining the cobbled streets. When you get hungry there are plenty of local tavernas serving the catch of the day, freshly caught that morning. And, if you fancy a swim in the sea, then you can head to Katharos Beach – it's just a few minutes outside the town.
